Which gas would always have higher concentration in the soil compared to the atmosphere?

From the composition of soil air, we know that oxygen is much less than that of atmospheric air. On the other hand, carbon dioxide is higher in soil.

Why does the percentage of gases like oxygen nitrogen remains almost the same in the atmosphere?

In the environment, the percentage of the gases like oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide is maintained by their cyclic flow. The oxygen cycle, nitrogen cycle and carbon cycle respectively are operated by the constant interaction between the biotic and abiotic components of the biosphere.
