How to use graphical modeler in QGIS?

To start a model in QGIS, we have to open a graphical modeller window from Processing menu then select Graphical Modeler as shown in figure 2. An empty graphical modeller window will be opened as in figure 3. In the graphical modeller window, we can see some icons and menus.
 

Why are plugins used in QGIS?

QGIS has been designed with a plugin architecture. This allows many new features and functions to be easily added to the application. Many of the features in QGIS are actually implemented as plugins. You can manage your plugins in the plugin dialog which can be opened with Plugins > Manage and install plugins .
