How do I update an existing field in QGIS?

In quick field calculation bar, you simply need to:

  1. select the existing field name in the drop-down list.
  2. fill the textbox with an expression you directly write or build using the expression button.
  3. and click on [Update All], [Update Selected] or [Update Filtered] button according to your need.
