Under Armour Standard Enduro Marine – Buying Guide
ReviewUnder Armour Enduro Elite Flat Front Pants: My New Go-To for Just About Everything?
Okay, so I’m always hunting for that unicorn: gear that’s as comfy for all-day wear as it is tough enough for my weekend escapades. You know, something that can handle a desk job one minute and a muddy trail the next. Lately, I’ve been putting the Under Armour Enduro Elite Flat Front Pants through their paces, and I’ve got some thoughts.
Right off the bat, these pants feel good. The fabric is light, which is a win, but they also have this sturdy vibe that makes you think they could actually take a beating. Under Armour calls it “ripstop stretch-woven,” and honestly, it feels like it could live up to the name. Plus, that flat front? It’s a nice touch – a little more polished than your typical cargo pants, so you don’t feel totally out of place if you have to run into a meeting.

Now, about that “UA Storm technology.” It’s legit. I learned this firsthand when I was snapping some photos the other day and got caught in a surprise sprinkle. The water just beaded up and rolled off – pretty slick. I wouldn’t bank on them in a monsoon, but for light rain, they’ve got you covered.
But here’s what really sold me: the knees. They’re articulated, which basically means they’re designed to move with you. As a photographer, I’m constantly crouching, kneeling, contorting myself into weird positions to get the shot, and these pants never felt restrictive. And the waistband? Seriously comfy. It’s got some give, which is a lifesaver when you’re on the move all day.
Let’s talk pockets, because who doesn’t love a good pocket setup? The hand pockets are standard fare, but there’s this sneaky little knife pocket inside one of them. I don’t carry a knife, but it’s perfect for my Leatherman. And the zip-up back pockets? Essential for keeping my wallet and keys from going AWOL. Plus, there’s a side pocket on the leg that’s just the right size for my phone or a small notebook. Oh, and that little badge clip? Probably super handy if you’re rocking an ID for work.
Okay, not everything’s sunshine and rainbows. If I’m being picky, the fabric isn’t the most breathable when it’s scorching hot out. I wore them on a pretty warm day last week and definitely felt a bit…toasty. Also, the color choices are a little…underwhelming.
So, the bottom line?
The Under Armour Enduro Elite Flat Front Pants are a solid buy if you need pants that can pull double duty. They’re like the Swiss Army knife of clothing – ready for anything. They’re not perfect for every situation, but their water resistance, comfy fit, and smart pocket design make them a winner in my book. If you’re after a pair of pants that can handle the daily grind and a weekend adventure, give these a look. You might just find your new go-to.
