Under Armour 1386560 25 3XL Woven Cargo – Tested and Reviewed
ReviewUnder Armour UA Vibe Woven Cargo Shorts: Are They Worth the Hype?
Okay, so I’m always on the hunt for gear that can actually keep up with my crazy life. When I heard about the Under Armour UA Vibe Woven Cargo Shorts, I was definitely intrigued. Under Armour promises these are the ultimate warm-up shorts, ready for anything and small enough to stuff in your bag – a big claim, right? I had to see for myself.
Right off the bat, the material surprised me. Seriously lightweight! The tag says 100% polyester, but it’s got this nice stretch to it, thanks to that 4-way stretch thing. I can already tell this would be great for, well, just about anything.
Now, the fit… definitely roomy. I usually rock a 3XL, and these felt, shall we say, generous. But honestly? I kind of dig it for a warm-up short. You know, gotta have room to move! And the elastic waistband with the drawcord? Genius. You can really get that perfect fit.
Let’s talk pockets, because who doesn’t love pockets? These shorts are loaded. Standard hand pockets? Check. But the back pocket with the snap? That’s where it’s at. Perfect for keeping your wallet safe when you’re on the go. I’m already picturing myself rocking these on my next trip.
So, how do they perform? I took these bad boys for a spin – a light jog, some clumsy attempts at calisthenics in the park. That 4-way stretch is legit; I could move every which way. And the lightweight material? Felt like I was wearing nothing at all (in a good way!). But, and this is a big but, I gotta be honest… they weren’t the most breathable. On a pretty mild day, my legs were feeling a little… swampy.
My Final Take:
If you’re after comfy, do-it-all warm-up shorts, the Under Armour UA Vibe Woven Cargo Shorts are a solid bet. That stretch, the pockets galore, and the packable design make them super practical for workouts, travel, you name it. Just keep in mind, if you’re prone to overheating, maybe think twice, especially when it’s hot out.
The Good Stuff:
- Super light and easy to pack
- That 4-way stretch? Amazing.
- Secure back pocket – lifesaver!
- Comfy, loose fit – perfect for lounging or lunging
The Not-So-Good Stuff:
- Breathability could be better, for sure.
- Might be a little too roomy for some.
Bottom line? I’d totally recommend these if you need a reliable, versatile pair of shorts for light workouts, travel, or just kicking back. Just keep the weather in mind!
