What does a tile map look like?
A tile map is a map in which each region is represented by a single tile of the same shape and size. For example, a square tile map of the United States would consist of square tiles of the same size for each state, regardless of the geographic area of each state.

What are Category 1 tiles?
It ranges from 1 to 5, with 1 being light duty (for residential bedrooms and ensuites) and 5 being extra-heavy duty (for public walkways, shopping centres and the like). Tiles also come in a 0 wear rating, which means they can only be used on walls.
Can I see the tile map?
View the map from the home screen of the Tile app
On the home screen of the Tile app, tap the Map icon at the bottom center. The size of the gray circles on the map is based on the predicted location accuracy of your mobile device.
How big should a tile map be?
The width must vary depending what latitude you are at because there are 16,384 tiles that you must “fit in” no matter the distance around the world at the latitude. I.e. as you move away from the equator the tiles get smaller.
