Converting Images Inside KMZ Files
- Open the image in Preview.
- Click File > Save As (or Export)
- Under the Format dropdown choose JPG or PNG.
- Click Save.
How do I read a KMZ file in QGIS?
KMZ files can also be opened in QGIS. Go to Layer | Add vector layer…. In the dialog that opens, click on the Browse button to open the file selector dialog. Select the All files option to view all the files and then select the elcontour1m.
