Is Sentinel-1 still active?

Sentinel-1C and 1D are in development with Sentinel-1C set for launch in April 2023.

The Sentinel-1 is equipped with twin polar orbiting satellites designed to provide a spatial data for environment and security warranting, global economic and business growth. The satellites are to operate day-and-night and perform a synthetic aperture with radar imaging.
