Steps to Create Random Points Inside Polygon on QGIS

  1. Open or create a new polygon layer.
  2. Go to Vector | Research Tool | Random Points Inside Polygon.
  3. Select the polygon layer as the Input layer.
  4. Choose the sampling strategy.
  5. Set the minimum distance between points (optional)
  6. Hit OK to start the process.
