Now that you have your layer setup, you can open up the Toolbox by either selecting the gear icon or by going into the processing tab on the menu bar and selecting toolbox. Then in the Processing Toolbox, drill-down into the Raster Tools section. Within this section, select the Generate XYZ tile (MBTiles) option.

  1. On the right, get a view of the area you would like to make into an MBTiles file.
  2. Use the tools on the right to select an area.
  3. On the 1 Describe tab, give details about the map.
  4. On the 2 Formats tab, checkmark MBTiles.
  5. On the 3 Data tab, for Source, select OpenStreetMap.

  5. Click the Start Upload button to upload the file.
