How to use distance calculator in MapInfo?

You can use the Distance Calculator tool that comes with MapInfo. Add it to your tools menu by going into Tools > Tool Manager and ticking Loaded. This will update OutputTable with the ID from both input tables and a polyline object representing the distance between the objects.
