How do I combine multiple GPX files?

merge all open GPX files as tracks into one file, or export them separately.



To merge two GPX files:

  1. Below the bottom panel, select the tab of the first GPX file you want to merge.
  2. Click on (available only when more than two files are open).
  3. Click on the tab of the second GPX file to merge or an the trace itself.

 

How do I upload a GPX file to Wikiloc?

To upload the trail, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Wikiloc’s website and sign in with your username.
  2. From your profile, click on “Upload Trails” at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose the “Upload file” option which says “Select the file containing the GPS tracks and waypoints to upload”
  4. Choose the file saved on your computer.

Combining Tracks using Google Earth. Rather than using a text editor to splice together your gpx files, you can do it visually using Google Earth. The basic idea of doing it in Google Earth is to open all three gpx files, then see the 3 lines, drag them into a common folder and export the folder as a gpx file.

  1. Hold the Ctrl key on the keyboard and click the routes to highlight them.
  2. Right-click on the selected routes and click Join the Selected Routes.
