Here’s what you do:
- Open Google Maps.
- Go to the map (or Street View) of your location.
- Click Menu (top left).
- Click Share or embed map.
- Click Embed map.
- Pick the size you want by clicking the down arrow to the left of the text field.
- Copy the displayed HTML code. Paste it into your web app.
How do I add an interactive map to my WordPress site?
Here are the steps you have to follow to:
- Go to Google My Maps and create a map.
- Make your map public.
- Generate an embed code for your map.
- Add your Google Map API key to the embed code.
- Add the embed code to the Text tab on your WordPress page editor.
- Preview the map and save your page.
How do I make an interactive map on Google Maps?
Create a new map by signing into your Google account, clicking the Map icon. 3. Then click the hamburger menu (in the top left hand corner) and then click “Your Places” (about half way down) Page 2 2 4. Click the “Maps Tab” then click, “Create Map” down the bottom.
