How do I separate bands in Qgis?
You can simply use the “gdal_translate” option in the QGIS, called “Clip Raster by Extent” under the Raster pulldown, for extracting an area and a particular band or set of bands. In the options see the use of “-b 2” to specify which band to export and the extent option to draw a box or other clipping methods.
