How do I show labels in KML in Google Earth?

Note: The Label Field can be changed by navigating to the Labels tab in Layer Properties. Use the Map to KML tool to convert the data to a KML or KMZ file, which can be viewed in Google Earth.

Add label.

  1. Open the Google Maps app .
  2. Tap Saved. . Under “Your lists,” tap Labeled.
  3. Tap the label you want to edit.
  4. At the bottom, tap the place’s name or address.
  5. Tap Label.
  6. Enter a new label name.
  7. Tap Add label.


Why are my labels not showing on Google Maps?

Some street names will not show on the map unless you zoom in enough. This is because Google maps do not allow the street labels to overlap so the space for the street name can only be enough if you zoom right in.
