How do you use a cloud mask?

Apply the Cloud Mask to the Multispectral Source Image

  1. From the menu bar, select File > Save As > Save As (ENVI, NITF, TIFF, DTED).
  2. In the File Selection dialog, select the multispectral dataset to which to apply the cloud mask.
  3. Click the Mask button.
  4. In the Mask Selection dialog, select the cloud mask raster.

What is masking in Google Earth Engine?

Gets or sets an image’s mask. The output image retains the metadata and footprint of the input image. Pixels where the mask changes from zero to another value will be filled with zeros, or the values closest to zero within the range of the pixel type. Note: the version that sets a mask will be deprecated.

How do I download Landsat images from Google Earth Engine?

Quote from video: So you go to uh data sets uh on the googlers engine platform. And uh if you click here landsat collections you have landsat 8 here.

How do I add clouds to Google Earth?

Turn on Animated Clouds

  1. Open Google Earth.
  2. Click Map style .
  3. Scroll to “Turn on animated clouds” and turn on the feature.

What is a cloud mask?

Cloud Mask (Dense/Cirrus) The cloud mask enables cloudy and cloud-free pixels to be identified. The mask includes both dense clouds and cirrus clouds with an indicator specifying the cloud type. Processing is performed with data sampled at 60 m spatial resolution for all spectral bands.

How do you apply an array mask?

Create a function for masking. Using masked_where() function: Pass the two array in the function as a parameter then use numpy. ma. masked_where() function in which pass the condition for masking and array to be masked.

How do you use automatic mask tracking?

Quote from video: Your masks. So they just automate animating keyframes. And try. And actually track a set motion. So for example a cool a cool way I'm gonna do this is just go ahead and zoom in a hundred.

What is cloud masking in remote sensing?

Cloud masking in remote sensing prepares imagery for processing and improves product generation. In preprocessing cloud masking, cloud coverage is not the only trouble. Visibility is also reduced by the shadows they cast and thus decrease the reflectance capability of target objects.

Can you blur your property on Google Earth?

If Google is the owner of the photo, you can request blurring or report the photo, as long as it contains: Your face, home, or other identifying information. Anything that violates the Google-contributed Street View privacy policies.
