How many mansions are in Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon?

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon – Just How Many Mansions Are We Talking About?

So, you’re diving into Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon on your trusty Nintendo 3DS? Awesome! Unlike the first game where you were stuck in one huge, spooky house, Dark Moon shakes things up. Instead of a single mansion, you get a whole bunch of different places to explore in Evershade Valley. Think of it like hopping between different haunted houses, all thanks to Professor E. Gadd’s crazy Pixelator invention. Pretty neat, huh?

Now, let’s get down to brass tacks: how many mansions are we actually talking about here?

The Fab Five (Mansions, That Is)

The main game gives you five seriously cool mansions to creep around in. Each one has its own vibe and a bunch of missions to complete. Let’s break it down:

  • Gloomy Manor: This is your classic haunted house. Think cobwebs, creaky floors, the whole shebang! It’s basically the game’s way of showing you the ropes. You’ll get to grips with the Poltergust 5000 (that awesome vacuum cleaner) and all your other ghost-busting gadgets. Consider it your training ground before things get too spooky.
  • Haunted Towers: Imagine a mansion with a giant tree growing right through it. Yeah, it’s that kind of place! It’s got this greenhouse-y feel, all overgrown and eerie. Fun fact: it’s the tallest mansion in the game, with six floors and a basement to get lost in. Good luck navigating that!
  • Old Clockworks: Okay, this one’s a bit different. Picture a mansion mixed with clockwork gears and a dash of desert landscape. Sounds weird, right? But trust me, it works! The music even has this ancient, mysterious feel that totally fits the theme. It’s like stepping back in time… to a haunted clock factory.
  • Secret Mine: Alright, technically, this isn’t exactly a mansion. It’s more like a shack perched on top of a snowy mine. But don’t let that fool you! It’s still packed with ghosts and puzzles. Plus, it’s got this awesome ice boss at the end. Definitely worth braving the cold for!
  • Treacherous Mansion: Get ready for a spooky museum! This place is filled with exhibits, artifacts, and, of course, plenty of ghosts. It’s the final mansion in the main game, and it’s definitely a tough one. Be prepared for some serious ghost-busting action!
  • Bonus Round: The ScareScraper

But wait, there’s more! Dark Moon also has this extra location called the ScareScraper (or Thrill Tower, depending on where you live). This one’s just for multiplayer. You and up to three friends can team up to clear floors of ghosts together. It’s a blast! You can choose how many floors you want to tackle – 5, 10, 25, or even endless if you’re feeling brave.

    So, the Grand Total?

All in all, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon gives you six mansions to explore. Five of them are the main story, and the ScareScraper is there for some multiplayer mayhem. It’s a great mix, and each location really brings something different to the table. Happy ghost hunting!
