How do I import GeoTagged photos into ArcGIS?

Import Geotagged Photographs into ArcMap

  1. Start by copying your photos to a designated folder.
  2. In ArcMap, locate the GeoTagged Photos To Points tool in the Photos toolset in ArcToolbox.
  3. In the GeoTagged Photo to Points dialog box, select the folder where your digital photos exist.

How do I import GeoTagged photos into Qgis?

In QGIS: Go to the Processing Toolbar panel. If you don’t see the Processing Toolbar Panel then go to Processing Menu >> Toolbar.



In the Import Geotagged Photos window:

  1. Input Folder: Browse to where your photos are stored.
  2. Photos [optional]: Click the drop down arrow >> Save to File.
  3. Click Run.
