How do you make a point along a line?

Creates points along a line, feature line, lot line, or arc at a specified distance from an end point. Click near the end point from which you want to measure the distance and enter a distance to specify the location for the created point along the object.
 

How do I create a point along a line in Arcgis?

Click the line feature along which you want to generate points. Click the Editor menu and click Construct Points. Choose the target in which the new feature will be created.
