Procedure

  1. Step 1: Zoom / pan to the area of interest.
  2. Step 2: Navigate to View » New (spatial) bookmark… in the QGIS menu.
  3. Step 3: Fill in a name for the bookmark.
  4. Step 4: Make sure that the coordinate reference system and extent are correct.
  5. Step 5: Click “Save”.
