How do I change alias on a feature class?

Aliases

  1. Right-click the feature class or table in the Catalog pane.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. Click the Source tab.
  4. Click the Alias property to enable editing of the name.
  5. Type an alias and click OK to set the alias for that feature class or table.


How do I change the field name in ArcPy?

Right-click the table and click Properties. Click the Fields tab. Click on the existing text in the Field Name column and type a new name.
